Free concerts in the College Chapel every Wednesday 1.15-1.45pm during term.

Come and relax in the beautiful setting of Royal Holloway Chapel. Each week there is a themed programme featuring a wide variety of music from the Choir of Royal Holloway alongside visiting instrumentalists, instrumental and vocal solos.

Shipley Arts Festival Concert

To mark the centenary of the birth of American composer Leonard Bernstein, the choir will be performing his Chichester Psalms with the Bernardi Music Group. Alongside this will be Mozart’s Concerto for Flute & Harp, excerpts from Fiona Howe’s Requiem, and a brand-new commission by Malcolm Singer which, like the Bernstein, sets a collection of texts from the psalms. Presteigne Festival 2018

23rd-28th August 2018

Contemporary Music Festival in the Welsh Marches

The choir make their third appearance at the famous Presteigne Festival, and will be performing 3 concerts and one service over the Bank-Holiday weekend. There will be music by living British and Baltic composers, including works by Gabriel Jackson, Cecilia McDowall, James MacMillan and David Bednall, as well as complete performances of Arvo Pärt’s Passio, and Kreek’s Notebook by Tõnu Kõrvits.


Saturday 25th - St. Mary's, Pembridge

4:30pm - Concert (to include Arvo Pärt’s Passio)


Sunday 26th - St. Andrew's, Presteigne

11:00am - Festival Eucharist (music by David Bednall and Nathan James Dearden)

7:45pm - Festival Concert (music by Kõrvits, Vasks & Michael Berkeley)


Monday 27th - St. Andrew's, Presteigne

9:30pm - Concert (to include music by Gabriel Jackson, Cecilia McDowall and Sir James MacMillan)
